Oliver takes up position with Historic Environment Scotland

Our Project PhD student, Oliver Gunning, has been offered a post as Administrative Officer at Historic Environment Scotland, the country’s lead public body established to investigate, care for and promote Scotland’s historic environment.

Oliver whose PhD thesis focusses on glassmaking in Scotland and northern England, brings his expertise in Scottish history, material culture, and working with museums and other cultural institutions to the job. And on top of working for the agency, he will still be finishing his PhD , too!

Many congratulations to Oliver - and to Historic Environment Scotland.
